Aftermatch of Medicine Dentistry Talk
was over, handed up my report to Ian Haynes,
telling Cindy i gtg to building 2 hall,room 2024.
Dialled for Khai Zun and we enter the hall.
The same hall that I first entered around 1 month ago,
it wasn't really like a hall, more like 2-3 rooms joined
up together.
The room was filled with one thirds(1/3) of students,
Took a seat to the left part of the hall.
Then it began with Di, the college principal,
giving a small briefing of the Talk while introducing
UWA internatiol student coordinater,X(cant remember the name).
So the Talk went on till 1.00pm.
In between were the essential information whereby,
i've never expected here.
The uni require high demands from student towards both courses,
apparently for Dentistry only 5 places are available and
in Medicine is 15 to 25 max places available.
And imagine the hall was filled with 50++ student...
and the cruel words she mention, with tat undesiring
emotion on her face: You'll have to compete against each
other in this room. And the school may accept maybe 1 extra
person into dentistry. Like last year we have 525 applications
for this course.
So now i have to compete against hell of ppl...
Hell no.....
And she did mention tat we'll have to take ISAT test,
(some test to qualify for medicine and dentistry).
And even if u have a high academic results but
u fail ISAT, u fail too.
Lastly an interview...
Fail interview? Forget medicine then.
And she told everyone to prepare a PLAN B...
Darn this is insane....
Anyway to put tat all away,
I've just found out tat my phone has radio!!
Cool....

my nervers already. Loads of homework,

Valentine's day.
what a day to celebrated in Australia.
I plan to celebrate the day with 3 persons,
Me, Myself and I.
Call it a triangle if you wish, or maybe Pathetic.
So my day started on the way to school,
hmmm... nothing much to say, even in school,
seems like foundation students got no time for
this dating thingy, unlike the year 11
which I heard.
Cause what I know is that most foundation students
are having their test coming in near valentine's day.
No wonder la.... But some still celebrate la...
So did I after school, 4 of us went to Dome to celebrate.
Let's see there's this drink call some honeycom eksprisrki,
drank it. And then have stomach ache in 3 hours time.
Cool.... So you pay more than the price of a starbucks drink
just to get a stomach ache....
Anyway the journey back to perth city main train
station was so different...
People where clinging to flowers, teddies, pots,
and the list goes on....
The only thing to highlight is that people here,
well, apparently women actually give valentine's gift
to the guys. So my conclusion: Why not?

Minutes to midnight and Chinese New Year, 10.30 pm, 6th February 2008
A Chinese new year celebrating with me, myself and I. How fantastic…. Or crappy….Haiz… Miss lots of stuff back there…. So far my home stay internet is not here yet,had to type everything offline….
Speaking of Chinese new year I’m wonder howWendy and Santhia is celebrating. Here Chinese new year not very popular. Just that maybe campus has a day on 8th February whereby students are ask to wear red t-shirt,and I didn’t bring over any red t-shirt…Got to buy anyway… Speaking of buying stuff, I bought the books for campus already.Costing my wallet to go on diet…A calculator that costs 169.95$? Wth… If RM then can la…Anyway not much to say la… Just that, my Malaysian attitudestill here… Everything also like push until last minute…Plus leh here got not much ppl to help…Got time play game some more….Sure die la………….
Anyway to everyone: Happy Chinese New Year
Gong Xi Fa Chai , ????????????
Got Ang Pau remember give me lo…. Lolx…
Another day living in Australia, 2 January 2008
Anyway had introduction to calculus during Wednesday, first 2 period50 mins a period. The lecture, Peter Gardner gave a math question.
Y=mx+c is the tip. It’s a little mix of physics with it.The question was Lolx…
Then with chemistry 1, seriously I have never even heard of orbitals, pauli exclusion principle and even… orbital electron configuration? And it’s in year 11? Dude, they don’t teach that in Malaysia…What to do? Learn loh… Duh…So chemistry is a little not use to. So need add in some work lo.
The same goes for biology, although there isn’t much but the approachand the way to answer a question, plus the questions they ask is totallyso new… Seriously different…
And ESL2? Ok it’s erm like for foreigners that English like pasar thingy wancause if I show you what they teach… You can just go zzzzzzzzzz…..Example: we learn verb, adverb, adjective…Summary of 60 words on a passage about The Spanish Flu.The rest maybe I’ll just take pics and show it.
The weather here is hot, seriously hot after like 9.00am.Now? 4.51pm. And I haven’t even touch my homework yet….Come to think of it, I remember what my friends and family toldme, about coming here which my main priority is study… But not play or holidays….Sorry min, have been playing…
Orientation Day 29January2008
Home stay here is quite fine. The son, Alex is taking Engineering. It’s a fine place but too far from city. Had to take a bus followed by a train and another transfer, finally another around 300m walk? I think but it’s quite some distances. Luckily there’s another guy, Eric from China who’s staying with me in the home stay, at least I don’t have to be lonely for an hour trip to campus. But he’s in year 11 while I’m in foundation.Anyway today Orientation was rather unfamiliar and the subjects’ timetable arenot really convenient like taking Introduction to Calculus would end up crashingwith Chemistry 3. Something like that la.OK la I did thought about back home, it’s so different, so easy, and so home…It’s 10.40pm here, 1 hr faster than Malaysia.Haiz need sleep already… Tomorrow need wake up like 5.45 am somemore….

Orientation Day 29 January 2008
But also perhaps of that I’m in the school Foundation Program Extended.
Most of the students here which I have notice come from China, Hong Kong,
some Malaysian and the rest of the world(cause there’s an African and a middle east.
The rest I’m not quite sure.
